Director, Capital Markets | Equipment Finance

Altius Search Group is recruiting for a Director of Capital Markets in the Equipment Finance Industry. Our client is an Independent Equipment Finance Company forecasting growth. This position will work with established funding sources and focus on selling deals to funding sources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the development of internal and external marketing strategies for the Division
• Participates in the Division’s regulatory compliance and regulator interactions
• Creates new revenue streams for the Division via market penetration with additional product and service development
• Works with the team to execute new business products with proper underwriting and perfect strategy
• Assists in syndicating and securitizing credit exposures for portfolio management 
• Coordinates credit exposure participation or sale for other financial institutions

Required Experience/Skills:

• 10+ years sales experience in the equipment finance industry
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Exceptional sales and closing skills
• Must have a strong understanding and knowledge of lease financing and lease documentation.
• Knowledge and understanding of the commercial equipment and lease finance process
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of formal equipment and lease finance documents
• Prior syndication experience working for an Independent Equipment Finance Company
