Overview
Our client, a nationally recognized and rapidly growing equipment finance organization, is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead all marketing, branding, communications, and public relations initiatives. This executive will shape the company’s strategic marketing direction, elevate brand presence, and partner closely with senior leadership to support growth across B2B, B2B2C, and OEM channels.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, creative, and hands-on marketing leader with strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across B2B, B2B2C, and OEM channels.
Lead campaigns from concept through launch across multiple media platforms.
Ensure consistent branding and tailored messaging across all communications.
Brand Management
Drive company-wide branding initiatives, including major rebranding efforts.
Oversee the design and development of the company website, intranet, social platforms, and all client-facing materials.
Maintain high standards of brand consistency, accuracy, and quality.
Public Relations & Communications
Direct national and local PR strategy, including press releases, media relations, sponsorships, trade advertising, and conference visibility.
Prepare executive presentations, proposals, creative briefs, and internal communications.
Serve as a proactive communication partner across the organization.
Digital Marketing & Customer Experience
Develop digital tools and processes to enhance the vendor and customer financing experience.
Manage email campaigns, social content, and digital marketing assets.
Collaborate with clients on website integration, co-branded initiatives, and product promotion.
Market Intelligence & Positioning
Lead competitive analysis, VOC research, industry insights, and market positioning strategies.
Provide strategic recommendations based on market trends and customer feedback.
Agency & Vendor Management
Partner with third-party agencies for creative, media, and digital execution.
Oversee budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across all marketing projects.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
Work effectively across departments, managing multiple projects and internal clients simultaneously.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative leadership style.
Job requirements
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles; experience in financial services or B2B industries preferred.
Proven success leading marketing strategy, branding, communications, and digital initiatives.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams.
Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a track record of execution excellence.
