Territory Sales Manager - Equipment Finance

Altius Search Group is recruiting for a Territory Sales Manager position for one of our clients in the Equipment Finance Industry. This position will work with customers in the midwest.  A seasoned individual with a track record of success and sound knowledge of the equipment finance market in this midwest region or equipment sales into the retail  petroleum  market.

Ideal Candidate: Organized, ambitious, professional. Proficient in Salesforce. Proven track record of success, especially as a revenue generator. 


Position Description: Identify and secure profitable transactions identified in the petroleum industry. Candidate will generate financing transactions from our manufacturer partner relationships, jobbers, dealers, current customer base, major oil opportunities, and other industry related opportunities. 


Our clients has partnerships with leading petroleum equipment manufacturers. These relationships provide invaluable access to manufacturer reps, distributors, jobbers, active deal backlogs, etc. The sales rep will provide outstanding customer service and support to each program partners sales networks within their assigned territory. Their daily focus is to help them drive incremental equipment sales by working a finance partner.

  • A proven sales professional with extensive market experience

  • An individual with a broad base of customer relation

  • Consistent record of new business origination, and long standing relationships 

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • A friendly open, team oriented individual

  • An individual who is very customer sensitive and customer service focused.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of sales experience in the equipment and/or leasing and finance industry
    • Understanding of finance, accounting, and tax issues
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills
    • Excellent work ethic
    • Persistence & assertiveness
    • Organizational and computer skills
    • Proven ability to establish and maintain new business
    • Knowledge of CRM software programs
    • Ability to travel
    • Enjoys working with a team in a collaborative environment
