Our client, a fast-growing, upscale hospitality group seeking a General Manager to lead operations for a high-profile restaurant and event-driven concept in Somerset, KY.

The General Manager will play a critical role in driving culture, guest experience, team development, and overall business performance while helping establish the concept as a premier dining and events destination in the market.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all front-of-house and daily restaurant operations with a strong floor presence

  • Drive an exceptional guest experience while maintaining elevated hospitality standards

  • Build, train, and develop high-performing management and hourly teams

  • Oversee financial performance including:

    • P&L management

    • Labor controls

    • Cost management

    • Revenue growth initiatives

  • Partner with culinary leadership to ensure consistency in food quality and service execution

  • Help drive private dining, catering, and local community engagement initiatives

  • Maintain operational excellence across service, cleanliness, safety, and team accountability

  • Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and performance management

  • Foster a positive, hospitality-driven culture aligned with the brand vision

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in restaurant or hospitality management

  • Prior experience as a General Manager, AGM, or senior operations leader preferred

  • Background in upscale dining, chef-driven concepts, lifestyle hospitality, or high-volume service environments

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Guest experience

    • Team development

    • Financial management

    • Operational execution

  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the floor

  • Experience with private events, beverage-driven environments, or community-driven concepts is a plus

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
