Our client, a sought-after venue for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations in the Dallas area is seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee the hospitality and catering operations.

This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in event-driven environments, understands the complexities of high-volume catering operations, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences in a unique venue setting.

As General Manager, you will lead all food and beverage operations, manage a high-performing team, and ensure flawless execution of events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations.

Job requirements

Venue & Catering Operations

  • Oversee all food & beverage operations across catering, concessions, and special events.

  • Lead daily operations to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency.

  • Manage culinary, service, and event teams to deliver exceptional hospitality.

Event Execution

  • Ensure seamless execution of weddings, galas, corporate functions, and private events.

  • Partner with event sales and planning teams to align operational delivery with client expectations.

  • Serve as the senior operational leader during major events.

Financial Performance

  • Manage full P&L responsibility including labor, food cost, and operational profitability.

  • Develop budgets and forecasts to support revenue growth and cost control.

  • Analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing hospitality team.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and guest-first service.

  • Mentor department leaders and supervisors to strengthen operational leadership.

Client & Guest Experience

  • Ensure exceptional experiences for both public guests and private event clients.

  • Act as a key hospitality ambassador for the venue and brand.

  • Resolve operational challenges with professionalism and urgency.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, catering, or venue operations

  • Strong background in high-volume catering or event-driven venues

  • Experience managing weddings, corporate events, and large-scale hospitality programs

  • Proven P&L management experience

  • Strong leadership and team development skills

  • Ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced environment
