Position Summary:
Our client, a luxury hotel property, is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and fiscally savvy Director of Food and beverage to lead its culinary and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing multiple outlets, large-scale catering, and full-service dining experiences across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of high-end hospitality standards, and expertise in managing large budgets and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of four unique F&B outlets, in-room dining, and catering.
Lead and mentor a diverse team including the Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager, Hotel Manager, and service staff to deliver world-class guest experiences.
Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue, optimize costs, and improve guest satisfaction across all F&B touchpoints.
Manage and be accountable for an annual F&B revenue budget exceeding $12 million.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to drive catering and banquet business.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, brand standards, and quality control guidelines.
Analyze financial performance, labor productivity, and operational metrics to continuously enhance profitability.
Innovate menus and beverage programs in partnership with the culinary team to align with guest preferences and market trends.
Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and service leadership.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Food & Beverage Director in a luxury hotel environment.
Proven success managing $12M+ in annual F&B revenue.
Strong business and financial acumen with demonstrated experience in budget creation, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Deep knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and high-end service standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
