We’re partnering with a fast-growing, fine dining restaurant group seeking a Director of Catering & Events to lead and scale its private events business across three expanding markets.
This is a pure sales role—focused on driving revenue, building relationships, and securing high-value events. A dedicated operations team is in place to execute events, allowing you to focus entirely on business development and client acquisition.
This is a unique opportunity to own and grow a multi-market revenue stream within a brand known for its elevated guest experience and design-forward spaces.
Job requirements
What You’ll Do
Drive catering and private events revenue across all locations (FL + KY markets)
Proactively source, develop, and close new business through outbound sales efforts
Build and maintain a strong network within:
Weddings (planners, venues, coordinators)
Corporate clients (local companies, agencies, executives)
Social events (milestone celebrations, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, private parties)
Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract execution
Develop strategic partnerships with event planners, luxury vendors, and community influencers
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff and alignment on client expectations
Create and refine pricing strategies, packages, and sales collateral
Forecast revenue, track pipeline activity, and identify growth opportunities
What We’re Looking For
5+ years in catering sales, event sales, or private dining sales
Proven track record of generating new business through outbound efforts
Strong existing book of business / Rolodex in one or more of the following:
Weddings
Corporate events
Social events (Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, milestone celebrations, private gatherings)
Experience selling high-end events ($20K–$100K+)
Background in restaurant, lifestyle hospitality, or boutique hotel environments
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a program from the ground up
Polished, relationship-driven, and highly self-motivated
